New 2020/21 Project
The North Star School in Jasper, GA, is a highly underserved area. With 100% of their students on free lunch, there are vast needs both educationally and environmentally. Your support will help provide technology and educational tools (which includes the Reading for Angels program) to these students.
Future projects may arise as the Foundation’s board works to identify and develop additional opportunities within the North Start School district to bring real, lasting change and put these students on a path towards success.
Reading for Angels Program
This program helps children struggling to read achieve grade level standards by the time they reach the 3rd grade. With a 100% success rate, the program has expanded to online ‘Digital Learning Pods’ enabling children across the country access to these tools. Your support will help keep the program operational and expand it to new areas and schools.
Educational/ Advocacy Initiatives
Every child has the right to a high-quality education and the necessary tools that will prepare them for college, a career, or the world in general. Your support will help provide families with legal representation to champion their child's needs within the educational system.
